Our 70 watt amplifier is our main kit and is being retired. This amp has been the building block for a multitude of projects. It has been used as a guitar amplifier or as a music / stereo system amplifier. With the right filter, the amp can be used in a powered subwoofer design. You could even make a multichannel surround amplifier by using a couple of the amp kits. The heart of the amplifier is the TDA-7294 integrated circuit. It has a lot of nice features for a minimal amount of work. The IC has integrated short-circuit, thermal, and "pop" protection.
